As we transition back to the day-to-day of packing lunches, homework and getting to bed earlier, I am remembering the days when my kids needed to run—and then run even more—after they got out of school.
We usually hung out on the school playground, which wasn't an option the past couple of years, or walked along the trails in the park next to their school. Other times, such as early-release days when we had more time, we’d try a new playground or park.
So here’s a list of options—collected from several of my earlier posts—to pick and choose from depending on the day, the energy level and the weather.
